Maus and Divergent are very much alike, however they have their differences. First, Divergent is a fiction book based on a girl who is just trying to find her place in life and find what her life will be like in a faction called Dauntless, while Maus is a non-fiction book where the main character Artie is just trying to interview his dad to find out what the Holocaust was like and what everyone had to go through to survive and escape the insane Hitler. Also, in Divergent they have factions. A faction is where they have rules and regulations for a job that every character in the faction participates in. The names of these are Abnegation, Candor, Amity, Erudite, and Dauntless. In Maus, there is no such thing as factions. It is a bunch of mice(Jews) running and hiding from cats and pigs to survive, escape and avoid the gas chambers. All in all the two books are quite different if the general plots are being compared.
