In Catching Fire, Katniss Everdeen goes on a "quest". A quest consists of five components: a) A quester. b) A place to go. c) A stated reason to go. d) Trials and challenges along the way e) The "true" reason for going. On Katniss' quest, she is the quester, her place to go is the arena where the people of the districts fight until death. Her stated reason to going to the arena is to help the districts in poverty by outsmarting the creator of Panem. She faces many trials and challenges along the way which include Peeta volunteering to be in the games again, not having the most athletic allies such as Wiress and Beetee, and going into the games with President Snow wanting her dead. Her "true" reason for going is to start a rebellion, however she does not come to that realization until she is trying to kill her opponents and accidentally uses her bow and arrow to shoot the force-field, which surrounds the arena, causing it to collapse which beings a rebellion.
